Yara Shahidi showcased her chic style in a nautical-inspired ensemble as she arrived for a taping of Good Morning America in New York City.

The 22-year-old Grown-ish star donned a black pinstripe mini blazer dress that she wore over a long sheer white blouse.

The recent Harvard University graduate beamed and flashed a peace sign as she headed into the studio in Times Square.

Yara's short-sleeved double-breasted mini dress featured gold buttons and front pockets.

The Black-ish alumna's blouse was buttoned up to her neck and hung down past her knees. 

The Minnesota native sported mismatched long socks with one solid black sock and one white-striped black sock.

The performer had on studded black and white pointed toe ankle boots that had gold buckles.

Yara accessorized with delicate jewelry including small gold hoop earrings and gold rings.

The beauty wore her long raven locks parted in the center and down in several braids.

She rocked a glamorous palette of makeup including a glossy maroon lipstick, shimmery gold eyeshadow, a cat eye and long lashes.   

Yara rose to fame when she starred as 14-year-old Zoey Johnson on the hit ABC family sitcom Black-ish.

In 2017, ABC announced that the actress would be headlining a Black-ish spinoff titled Grown-ish.

The show, which began airing on ABC's sister network Freeform in January 2018, follows Zoey as she heads off to college and makes new friends.

After Black-ish concluded in April 2022, the network announced that Marcus Scribner, 22, who played Zoey's younger brother Andre Johnson Jr. would become a regular cast member on Grown-ish.

Marcus joined Yara for her appearance on GMA as they both shared details about what fans can expect from the upcoming fifth season of Grown-ish.

'So, I got my favorite thing about Black-ish with me,' she  said.

She added, 'He was such a fan favorite part of the show and it was fun to have the sibling dynamic back.'

Yara also discussed her recent college graduation and the differences between her real-life college experience and Grown-ish, joking, 'Fortunately, Yara never had that kind of Adderall moment in her college career.

'Also Zoey wears a new outfit every day and I wear the same Harvard track suit,' she quipped. 'I'm just a walking ad for the university.'

She continued, 'But honestly, it really toward the end begin to mimic each other. Because Zoey was figuring out how to juggle her career and school while I was flying back and forth between school and set.'

All smiles: She grinned from ear-to-ear

'And so I'm really grateful to be able to fulfill two things that I love to do.'

Marcus explained that he currently had no plans go to college and work on Grown-ish simultaneously.

'I'll probably pull an Anthony Anderson and graduate at college at 50,' he joked.

The fifth season of Grown-ish premieres July 20 on Freeform.
