Primark shoppers say the lipstick is giving them "proper Charlotte Tilbury vibes"

Budget retailer Primark is selling a new lipstick which looks very similar to ones sold by a designer brand - but for around £23 cheaper.

Primark, which is hugely popular in Liverpool, has become known for its designer dupes in recent years, often selling alternative versions to high-end products for much less. This time around, the retailer is selling a lipstick which is very similar to Charlotte Tilbury's Matte Revolution Pillow Talk lipstick, which is priced at £26 online.

Primark took to its Instagram feed this week to share a photo of its new beauty addition, which features a similar design to Charlotte Tilbury's iconic lipstick. The bargain retailer's lipstick has a similar gold casing with a ridged design, and comes in a number of shades.

While Primark doesn't offer an online shop, the retailer does have a website where shoppers can see its latest products and check if they're in stock before heading into stores to purchase them. The £2.50 lipstick is in stores now. You can find the Charlotte Tilbury version here.

Sharing the new product to social media fans, Primark said: "She is the moment. Matte Lipstick only £2.50/€3/$3.50 #PrimarkBeauty." The post racked up more than 3,000 likes in less than 24 hours.

Beneath the photo, Primark shoppers praised the lipstick. One said: "This looks amazing" and a second wrote: "Love this colour!!!"

A third added: "Ohhh that looks beautiful" and a fourth said: "very tilbury vibes". Another excited shopper wrote: "well this is giving me proper Charlotte Tilbury vibes!!"

Shoppers could save themselves around £23.50 by opting for the Primark dupe. Find your nearest Primark store here.
