The party never stops when you're wearing glitter eyeshadow because it usually ends up on other parts of your face. Not to mention the random flecks you find on your cheek or chin, or sheets or clothes, for days to follow, even though you swore your double cleanse got all of it off.

I've found myself in the above scenario far too many times, but I'll never pass up the opportunity to wear a super sparkly eyeshadow. The search for a glitter formula that offers high shine, bold color, and zero fallout led me to about-face's Fractal Glitter Eye Paints, a recent launch from Halsey's makeup line. The liquid eyeshadow comes in eight shades, including classics like silver and gold to bold sapphire and emerald.

There are countless celebrity beauty brands out there, and about-face is one of the few my beauty editor peers and I agree on. Along with gorgeous textures, shades, and user-friendly applicators, the products are all long-wear, something Halsey prioritizes because their own stage makeup needs to hold up throughout an entire show.

And that brings me back to the Fractal Glitter Eye Paints. They do not budge — even if you sweat, accidentally rub your eye, or get caught in the rain on the way home. Using the doe-foot applicator, I like to add a big swipe on the center of my eyelid, then blend it out with my fingertip. While you get a bit of playtime, the formula dries down pretty fast. You can also customize the coverage by buffing it out for a sheerer finish or layering it for more opaque color.

While this liquid eyeshadow doesn't smudge or cause fallout, it's not a pain to take off. I simply use micellar water and a reusable cotton round to gently wipe away every single trace of glitter.

All of the shades are extremely wearable, but I'm a fan of Apollo Empire, a gold with neutral undertones. It's extremely festive for the holiday season, but I plan on wearing it way past Jan. 1. The color also works great as a highlight on the inner corners of the eyes to really make them pop.

And I plan on using that hack on the first day of work in the new year.

Good to Go used to be the column where we'd share the beauty products we can't travel without. But while travel's off the table, we'll be focusing on products that make us feel good. This month, why I'm obsessed with about-face's Fractal Glitter Eye Paint.
