Even A-list celebrities are excited about the upcoming Taylor Swift album, with Heidi Klum and Sofia Vergara celebrating on the set of America's Got Talent.

Swift almost broke the internet on Sunday night when she announced her upcoming 10th album, Midnights, at the MTV VMAs.

While accepting the award for Video of the Year for her "All Too Well" clip, Swift told the audience, "I thought it might be a fun moment to tell you that my brand new album comes out October 21."

On Twitter later that evening, Swift wrote: "Midnights, the stories of 13 sleepless nights scattered throughout my life, will be out October 21. Meet me at midnight."

Alongside the announcement she teased the album artwork which included a small photo of herself surrounded by a cream border, the title Midnights and a track list consisting only of numbers.

Klum and Vergara decided to get in on the action and poked fun at the album title.

The actress posted a selfie of the two stars biting into the same wafer while sitting at the AGT desk

They changed the album title to "Midnightsnacks" and Vergara posted it to her Twitter account alongside three laughing face emojis.

In her album announcement on social media, Swift also shared a photo of herself bent over in a chair in a darkened room with a cryptic description of what fans could expect from the album.

"We lie awake in love and fear, in turmoil and in tears. We stare at walls and drink until they speak back," Swift wrote.

"We twist in our self-made cages and pray that we aren't—right this minute—about to make some fateful life-altering mistake.

"This is a collection of music written in the middle of the night, a journey through terrors and sweet dreams. The floors we pace and the demons we face."

Swift added: "For all of us who have tossed and turned and decided to keep the lanterns lit and go searching—hoping that just maybe, when the clock strikes twelve... we'll meet ourselves."

Swifties — the self-appointed name of Swift's fans — quickly began to dig for clues about what the singer might release on the album.

One theory suggested by many is that Midnights might be a sister album to 2019's Lover.

The theory gained traction after Swift wore a blue outfit to the VMAs afterparty, the album font is blue and she's wearing an electric blue eyeshadow on the album artwork.

One fan explained it in a TikTok that was also shared on Twitter. The user, @idontlikejohnmayer1331, wrote: "thinking about how swifties totally forgot about that random theory that Lover had a Side B which was going to be 'blue,' and how Taylor said she plans things three years in advance sometimes, and how she ends daylight with '...the things that haunt me in the middle of the night...', and now we get Midnights .. which is literally an album about things that haunt her in the middle of the night 3 years after Lover (which was originally going to be named Daylight) came out."

Others think that the song titles could be the dates of the "13 sleepless nights" that Swift mentioned. One user on Twitter remarked: "this is legitimately the most chaotic thing she could possibly do."

Some fans are also excited for the lead single from the album with some speculating it may coincide with the anniversary of Kanye West storming the stage at the VMAs when Swift won the Best Female Video award.

Twitter user @eliseryann wrote: "My own PERSONAL theory is that we are getting a lead single... soon. Lot of swifties have been clowned about lead single days so take this with a grain of salt but I'm calling a single on the anniversary of The Incident*👀."

The incident in question occurred at the VMAs on September 13, 2009, when West interrupted Swift's acceptance speech to claim Beyonce should have won for her "Single Ladies" video.
